Description

We're looking for a Temporary Provider Network Coordinator to assist with maintaining our provider database, provide excellent customer service to our providers, injured workers, and staff, and assist with general projects in the department.


Position Specifics: Temporary, up to 3 months (possibly more), Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Pacific Standard Time, Remote


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Communicate with providers on a regular basis to answer any questions or concerns as well as to provide strong provider relations 
  • Prepare and send provider directories, as needed
  • Manage the provider database (additions, updates, removals, etc.) to ensure that database is accurate and current
  • Make/oversee targeted calls to medical providers and ancillary providers to establish and maintain relationships with entities that join EK Health’s Provider Network
  • Other duties as assigned

~This position pays between $17 - 19/hr based on experience, education and location.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma required, AA in related field preferred
  • Must be computer literate with a high comfort level with computers and computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, Email, and Internet)
  • Workers’ compensation experience is strongly recommended
  • Provider relations experience a plus
  • Knowledge of general credentialing procedures preferred
  • Able to develop and prepare provider network reports for internal and external customers
  • Basic  medical terminology

Physical Requirements: 

Candidate must be able to sit the majority of an 8-hour day except for lunch and break times. Candidate must be able to keyboard the majority of an 8-hour day except for lunch and break times. Candidate must have manual dexterity. Candidate must be able to speak on the telephone intermittently throughout the day. Candidate must be able to read and write English fluently. Candidate must be able to provide and confirm safe home office environment. Home office must be HIPAA compliant.
